What You Will be Doing

• Conduct product cost and material cost forecasting in various projects to ensure accurate product content and cost information.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to create and update bills of materials (BOM).
• Identify, capture, and analyze product costs, risks, and opportunities from cross-functional teams.
• Focus on product cost optimization and actively monitor and control product cost activities within projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Provide support to other Product Cost Engineers, Finance Project Managers, and Cross-Program Managers (CPMs) in cost analysis.

Education/Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Background in engineering, purchasing, or cost accounting, with experience in the chassis domain preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to manage and structure a large amount of data effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large datasets, pivot tables, and other advanced features.
• Experience in the heavy-duty automotive industry.
• Strong financial skills or a solid understanding of financial principles.
• Ability to compile financial information and present it in a structured and organized manner.

Salary: 

• $75,000 annually
• The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
