Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Lead electrical engineering process development, requirements definition, integration, verification and validation to include:
- Design electronic circuits for commercial and military audio and airborne electronics
- Define electrical requirements for updated or new designs and develop detailed performance specifications.
- Perform preliminary and detailed design activities - including block diagrams, trade off studies and design reviews, schematic capture, design analysis, prototype tests, and design reviews.
- Perform technical oversight and coordination of Printed Circuit Board designs.
- Perform functional tests and design verification tests.
- Support electrical qualification tests.
- Develop equipment to support integration test.
- Provide troubleshooting support to New Product Introduction manufacturing.
Education/Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 7 years’ experience in the aerospace industry and 5 yrs of relevant experience in digital and analog electrical hardware design.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Subject matter expertise in electrical engineering as well as knowledge of the latest developments in the industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in planning and organizing complex technical projects using earned value management. PMP a plus!
- Experience throughout the entire hardware project lifecycle including, but not limited to; concept, requirements, design, qualification, certification and new product introduction.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Great interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate across functional groups and represent the company with professionalism to our customers.
- Demonstrated experience with Airworthiness, safety and Do-254.Knowledge of TSO and PMA application process.
Salary Range: $120K-$180K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
