Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Systems Engineer responsible for contributing to Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) implementation across SSC programs.
The successful candidate will lead and employ Model Based Systems Engineering approaches to developing Systems Engineering products using SysML and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize needed views of model data to communicate system design and facilitate automation of Systems Engineering integration with other domains.
Ability to lead MBSE efforts on multiple programs; solicit stakeholder needs for MBSE implementation.
Develops architecture and interface documentation from model data.
Elicits stakeholder needs and requirements from model data.
Uses system design data from model to develop assembly, integration and verification data from model.
The successful candidate will also take on additional central MBSE tasks, as needed.
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Experience performing Systems Engineering activities.
Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering practices and implementation.
Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering tools.
Familiar with CAMEO systems modeler.
Experience using a system modeling tools to solve systems engineering problems.
Experience with system engineering missile Defence systems.
Understanding and working knowledge of SysML.
Experience with process development and deployment.
Experience with DOORS.
Working knowledge of MBSE-related Digital Engineering activities and implementation.
Familiar with Agile Methodologies.
Salary Range: $85k – 105k
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
