Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with customer documentation incoming and flow down to supplier.
- Create and manage technical aspects of the machining program including blueprint and CATIA model reading, interpreting specifications following customer requirements.
- Develop detailed instructions from technical sources.
- Document data control.
- Assist processing business unit with methods engineering tasks.
- Assist with production to develop efficient and strong manufacturing for the Processing business side (Shot Peen, Chemical & Paint processing).
- Create 2D drawings and modify 3D model using CATIA V5.
- Work alongside front-line employees with honesty and high integrity.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required.
- 5+ years of methods engineering background or experience in aerospace required
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- 3+ years working knowledge in Chemical and Paint Processes.
- Knowledge of Shot Peen processes preferred.
- Previous experience and intermediate knowledge of CATIA V5 required.
- Previous experience working within an ERP system preferred.
- Lean manufacturing and training preferred.
- Ability to understand aviation drawings, models and specifications.
- Detail oriented, very organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English language.
