Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Populate and modify parts/assemblies in ENOVIA VPM database
- Perform 3D wire routing using CATIA V5 E3D workbench
- 2D Electrical Design
- Create and modify 2D schematics using ELECTRE
- Populated and modify connector database ESTEL
- Perform change management (HCNS) using MTI
- Applies technical principles to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects under general supervision.
- Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
- Presents new ideas verbally and through sketches, documents work activities in weekly reports.
- Coordinates assignments with other technical disciplines, drafts standard engineering documents.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineer field (experience can be a substitute in lieu of degree)
- 2+ years of experience in 3D Wire Routing Design
- Experience with VPM databases, preferably ENOVIA
- Experience with 3D wire routing using CATIA V5 E3D workbench or EHI workbench or similar software
Desired Qualifications:
- EWIS rules and application knowledge
- Experience in aircraft interior design or furnishings design
- Experience designing in the aerospace industry
- Familiar with FAR Part 21 and/or 25
