Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Populate and modify parts/assemblies in ENOVIA VPM database
  • Perform 3D wire routing using CATIA V5 E3D workbench
  • 2D Electrical Design
  • Create and modify 2D schematics using ELECTRE
  • Populated and modify connector database ESTEL
  • Perform change management (HCNS) using MTI
  • Applies technical principles to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects under general supervision.
  • Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
  • Presents new ideas verbally and through sketches, documents work activities in weekly reports.
  • Coordinates assignments with other technical disciplines, drafts standard engineering documents.

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineer field (experience can be a substitute in lieu of degree)
  • 2+ years of experience in 3D Wire Routing Design
  • Experience with VPM databases, preferably ENOVIA
  • Experience with 3D wire routing using CATIA V5 E3D workbench or EHI workbench or similar software

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • EWIS rules and application knowledge
  • Experience in aircraft interior design or furnishings design
  • Experience designing in the aerospace industry
  • Familiar with FAR Part 21 and/or 25
