Accounts Receivable Collections Manager

Responsibilities
- Daily review of collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding and reduce collection cycle times (DSO)
- Preparing monthly feedback reports on payment collections
- Work closely with other departments, such as accounting, sales, and customer service, to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
- Audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad-debt status to account
- Monitor aging balances and recommend write offs
- Monitor and track purchase order balances and communicate in a timely manner with the sales team (PO Exhaustion)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University
- 4+ years related experience and/or the equivalent combination of training and experience which indicates the ability to do the job
- Knowledge of accounts receivable cash collections and invoicing
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel
- ERP system experience; Oracle and Oracle AR experience a plus
