Job Details
We are looking for an Accounting Intern to assist the company Accounting Manager and accounting staff with day-to-day tasks in all areas of accounting and finance. We are seeking a driven individual with high energy seeking to advance their career. Enjoys all aspects of accounting and finance with a broad understanding of how it impacts business and business decision making. Strong ability to learn and/or implement accounting and ERP software systems. Work with team members outside of accounting department for accurate transaction processing and financial improvement.
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Working alongside senior team members to ensure that all receivables are current
· Updating purchase orders in system and ensure that the ERP and time module agree with current PO balances.
· Interacting with clients and corporations to solve any discrepancies.
· Assisting the team with any current or upcoming projects as the role progresses.
· Being able to work in an interactive team environment to accomplish end goals in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
· Completed your junior year or higher of undergraduate degree by start of internship. Recent graduates and master’s students encouraged to apply as well.
· Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Analytics, or related business field.
· Familiarity with Microsoft office (emphasis placed on Excel)
· Enthusiastic and outgoing
· Strong communication skills
· Willingness to learn
A senior member of the team will check-in regularly to make sure you're getting the most out of your experience, and you’ll also have a representative from the Internship Committee who you can turn to for anything you may need.
Pay Range:
$16-18/hr dependent on education level and experience.
