Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and execute quality plans; Monitor and control activities as per Quality plans for assigned projects
  • Conduct process and product audits; Raise non conformances
  • Successfully track to closure and/or escalate non conformances and other issues
  • Provide periodic status and progress reports for assigned projects
  • Provide guidance/coaching to systems, software, and project/program teams
  • Design and Deliver QA training; Provide process training, as needed
  • Participate in work product reviews, DFMEAs and agile ceremonies; Ensure compliance
  • Participate in status and progress meetings; Contribute towards success of project charter
  • Lead activities setting up various dashboards and collect KPI measurements
  • Identify opportunities automating QA activities; Implement automation
  • Support external ASPICE Assessments and IATF audits
  • Support Agile, ASPICE, APQP and IATF process development and deployment
  • Work along with QA Safety Engineer, achieving ASIL goals


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 10 years - experience working as Quality Assurance engineer for Systems and Software development, within automotive domain (Some embedded programming experience preferred)



The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • Extensive knowledge of Automotive SPICE (Provisional assessor credentials preferred)
  • Very good knowledge of ISO 26262 – all parts
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Accomplished in collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Experience in Agile Development and Project Management
  • Exposure to JAMA (or Equivalent), JIRA (or Equivalent), Bit Bucket (or Equivalent), Static Analysis, MISRA, and Unit Test Tools


Desired Skills

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Some embedded programming experience
  • ASPICE Provisional or Lead assessor
