Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a 6 month contract to hire engagement on-site in Cape Canaveral, FL . Salary and benefits are offered during the duration of the contract (medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, etc.).

 

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will work with software development for PLCs and User Interfaces. Typical systems include high pressure gas, fluid systems, motion control, and electrical power systems.

  • Assist in peer review of internal and external supplier design documentation
  • Develop and update PLC software as needed to support a Sr. Software developer
  • Application of relevant company, industry (design, drafting, parts) techniques to plan, lay-out, and maintain data depicting engineering designs (detail, assembly and installation drawings or datasets)

Education

  • BS degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering. Other engineering or science degrees or work history will be considered if experience in above responsibilities is met

Qualifications

  • Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or other PLC software
  • Familiar with existing applicable drafting standards
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Desired skills

  • Understanding of Active Directory / User and Group Management
  • Microsoft SQL Server Administration
  • Rockwell Software Suite Administration
  • ICONICS Software Administration
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Networking
  • Rockwell Automation software: 3 years (Preferred)

Salary Range: $95K-$150K DOE
