In a critical aerospace project, ALTEN Technology delivered expert electrical and payload engineering support, primarily for International Space Station (ISS) external platforms. The work encompassed the entire lifecycle, from designing, developing, and testing spaceflight electrical devices, circuits, and systems, to leading multidisciplinary integration efforts that ensured stringent verification and safety requirements were met in accordance with NASA standards. Key achievements included the development and integration of space-rated avionics hardware for low Earth orbit payloads, the creation of comprehensive interface and integration requirements, real-time issue resolution during payload operations, and the advancement of next-generation external payload hosting solutions for both commercial and government clients. This effort leveraged specialized tools such as ALTIUM and MATLAB.
