Ensure DO-160 compliance. This project delivered a dual-DSP system passing all verification tests: lightning, splash, vibration, thermal, and EMC/EMI.

For a regional jet communication system, ALTEN Technology successfully developed a Passenger Address & Cabin Interphone Controller and its accompanying Automated Test Station. This comprehensive project involved creating a dual-DSP system with an ARINC 429 interface, meticulously optimized for maximum power output and efficient thermal management. A key innovation was the integration of built-in-test (BIT) capabilities for real-time hardware monitoring and the concurrent development of a state-of-the-art automated test station. This ATS dramatically reduced functional verification test times from over nine hours to just ten minutes, significantly boosting efficiency. All rigorous HALT/HASS and DO-160 tests were successfully completed, including comprehensive verification for lightning, splash, vibration, shock, thermal, and EMC/EMI. As a result, the product not only met all client requirements but also enabled the deployment of the automated test station in production, leading to substantial reductions in test time and increased throughput.
