Specializing in aerospace, ALTEN Technology successfully delivered a launch vehicle simulator designed for ground support systems. This comprehensive project leveraged a methodical approach, beginning with thorough requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement, followed by a strategic blend of third-party vendor collaboration and in-house custom cable fabrication. The key outcomes included identifying and validating system simplifications through detailed trade studies and life cycle cost analysis. ALTEN Technology also produced extensive design documentation, such as interface control documents, wiring schematics, and piping diagrams, while rigorously ensuring that safety products met critical reliability, fault tolerance, and availability requirements. The project further optimized data acquisition designs and managed robust data handling for incoming sensor data, utilizing key technologies like Ethernet-based communication protocols and various safety PLCs.
