For a commercial aviation client involved in EVTOL manufacturing development, ALTEN Technology provided comprehensive engineering support focusing on composite layup design. This project encompassed mechanical engineering, project management, and quality assurance services, including the critical task of developing CATIA composite PLY models with laser projection for various aircraft components such as booms, wings, and ruddervators. ALTEN Technology also played a key role in supporting the development and review of non-destructive manufacturing inspection standards. Furthermore, the team managed project schedules for both the third-party aircraft parts manufacturer and ALTEN Technology’s own scope of work, ensuring robust configuration management throughout the process.
