For a next-generation satellite, ALTEN Technology provided comprehensive electrical and mechanical analyses for its critical components and subsystems. Employing a hybrid and flexible multidisciplinary project approach, their team conducted detailed circuit simulations using LTspice and performed rigorous FIDES 2009 reliability analyses, applying derating in accordance with ECSS-Q-ST-11C standards. Furthermore, ALTEN Technology iteratively developed Ground Support Equipment (GSE) based on dynamics requirements, utilizing Ansys SpaceClaim for design and analysis. The project successfully analyzed electronics designs for both beginning-of-life (BOL) and end-of-life (EOL) performance and reliability, with these insights directly driving design improvements to achieve mission targets. The developed GSE designs were instrumental in supporting manufacturing processes and facilitating system-level qualification efforts, all while leveraging a suite of tools including Altium, Siemens NX, Siemens NX Simulation, Siemens Teamcenter, and Simcenter Femap.
