ALTEN Technology served as an integral extension of a client’s engineering team, providing specialized valve analysis for aerospace fluid systems, specifically for a reusable launch vehicle. The project involved collecting comprehensive analysis inputs, including loads, environments, and specific requirements, to conduct thorough quasistatic, modal, and random vibration analyses. This rigorous evaluation aimed to assess the strength and functionality of the valves, with ALTEN Technology also providing valuable suggestions for design improvements in areas of negative margin. Through continuous collaboration with the client’s design engineers, the team successfully ensured that all final designs met stringent strength requirements. The engagement concluded with the production of detailed stress analysis documentation for each valve, formatted using the client’s templates and ready for their product life cycle management system, utilizing key tools like Ansys Workbench and custom Microsoft Excel templates.
