This project highlights how ALTEN Technology significantly advanced the design and development of novel drug delivery systems tailored for a DOD use case. Through a rigorous approach involving rapid prototyping, iterative testing, and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) principles, the team enabled the client to achieve functional prototypes in just six months. Key outcomes included implementing a visual inspection process for drug containers, redesigning critical seals for improved performance, and developing specialized tools that drastically reduced assembly time and prevented damage during the process.
