ALTEN Technology provided comprehensive engineering support for a mission-critical software satellite deployment sequencer, focusing on spacecraft deployment sequencing and its precise timing controls. Their approach encompassed remote program support, in-depth hardware and software troubleshooting, and critical subcontract vendor oversight. They meticulously assessed existing software, specifications, requirements, and test protocols, complementing this with on-site functional test support and independent functional verification. As a result of their expertise, ALTEN Technology developed a vital ground support software package that facilitated engineering testing without requiring access to the complete system. They successfully identified and resolved flow-down discrepancies, ensuring accurate verification traceability, and provided actionable recommendations to resolve hardware issues related to the I²C data bus. Furthermore, they offered effective alternatives for addressing software issues in data encoding and CRC, ultimately enabling the achievement of critical program milestone dates.
