For a leading aircraft OEM, ALTEN Technology provided comprehensive manufacturing engineering services focused on enhancing shop floor processes and establishing robust PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). The project involved evaluating and ranking around 90 key processes to identify areas for improvement and developing detailed PFMEAs based on the client’s specifications, including work orders and process routings. Since 2023, ALTEN Technology’s team of five manufacturing engineers, operating from Mobile, AL, has meticulously shadowed technicians, facilitated crucial multi-functional team meetings for validation, and implemented a rigorous action item tracking system.
