A major aircraft OEM engaged ALTEN Technology to streamline the industrialization of a special process within their Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Mobile, AL. The core objective was to meticulously verify and demonstrate that all necessary means and assets were readily available, covering everything from specialized tools, materials, and consumables to machines and critical personal protective equipment. Leveraging deep manufacturing engineering and quality assurance expertise, ALTEN Technology developed a robust reference checklist, pinpointed essential health and safety requirements, and analyzed both operator qualifications and work order instructions. The team conducted on-site physical inspections to identify and report any divergences, providing crucial recommendations for process improvements. This collaborative effort ensured the timely delivery of a new, validated Means & Assets checklist, significantly enhancing the OEM’s operational readiness.
