ALTEN Technology provided critical support to an OEM by designing and optimizing prototype transport simulation and reinforcement learning algorithms specifically for managing a fleet of autonomous vehicles. This initiative dramatically boosted efficiency, increasing simulation speed and cutting costs by over 25 times through performance tuning and parallelization. The project also encompassed setting up and maintaining a robust, high-performance simulation platform on Amazon AWS, complemented by a custom dashboard for monitoring and comparing various simulation outcomes, leveraging a suite of technologies including Java, Python, and Tensorflow.
