A critical aerospace project benefited from the comprehensive structural analysis and design recommendations provided by ALTEN Technology. Their approach involved deploying a dedicated team of five structural analysts who functioned as an extension of the client’s own team, delivering detailed strength analysis reports, complete Finite Element Models (FEMs), and presentation-ready slide decks. The scope of their work included quasi-static strength analysis and normal modes evaluation for airborne components such as avionics brackets and installation fasteners. Additionally, ALTEN Technology analyzed various ground support equipment (GSE), including the mast, base structure, and decoupler booms of a mobile launch platform, assessing loads from wind, vibration, and gravity. They also performed analysis for transportation and hoist equipment. This extensive work was supported by key tools and technologies like Femap with NX Nastran, ITAR-compliant cloud-based high-performance computing (HPC), Mathcad, and Excel.
