Focusing on conformance management and supplier quality improvement, ALTEN Technology partnered with a commercial aircraft manufacturer to tackle critical issues at the Final Assembly Line. The objective was to cultivate high-quality investigations into FAL problems, thereby enhancing supplier performance and significantly reducing nonconformities originating from supplier products. Through consistent communication and the application of robust methodologies like Potential Problem Solving (PPS) and Kepner-Tregoe, ALTEN Technology successfully helped decrease supplier-related nonconformities by 30% over a seven-month period. The engagement also established a rigorous schedule of daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to continuously monitor and ensure quality advancements directly at the suppliers’ facilities.
