Responsibilities:
- Mechanical concept development, detailed design and analysis, engineering drawing creation and checking, Bills of Material development and issuance, Change Order initiation and completion, and Value Engineering
- Value Engineering of designs to achieve cost reduction while maintaining/improving function
- Identify and manage cost savings/energy savings projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering or relevant field
- 3+ years relevant experience
- CAD design experience , preferably having experience with Catia V5/V6
- Ideal to have experience with automotive mechanical engineering including interior, exterior or body trim
